The 63rd Philippine Urological Association (PUA) Annual Convention will be held on November 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21, 2020.  The convention will be held in conjunction with the 17th East Asian Society of Endourology (EASE) Annual Meeting.  This year’s meeting will also host the 1st virtual international meeting of the International Society of Reconstructive Urology (ISORU).

The EAU Section of Uro-Technology (ESUT) Workshop will kick off the convention while the 2nd South East Asian Urology Residents Education Program (SEA-UREP) will complete the post-convention activities.

For the first time, the 2020 convention will be an amalgam of topics and ideas contributed by each subspecialty society of the PUA namely: the Philippine Society of Urologic Oncology (PSUO), the Philippine Endourological Society (PES), the Philippine Society of Pediatric Urology (PSPU), the Philippine Alliance for Urolithiasis (PAU), the European Association of Urology-Philippine Chapter (EAU-PH), and finally the Philippine Genito-Urinary Reconstruction Society (PGURS).

This year’s theme is One PUA 2020: Confronting New Challenges Through Unity and Global Collaborations.  This is such an apt title considering that 2020 has certainly brought more than its fair share of challenges.  Through unity of purpose and collaborations with urologists all over the world, the PUA has taken on these challenges to deliver its first ever virtual convention.
