Resident’s Podium, Moderated Poster, Case Report and Cinema Urology Presentation Successfully Conducted During the 2020 PUA Annual Convention

The resident’s research papers were successfully presented during the 2020 PUA annual convention, conducted using an online platform on a two-day long event. On the first day of the research presentation contest, 11 residents who submitted their papers on moderated poster and case report competed for the top. Dr. Sigrid M. Agcaoili and Dr. Kathleen R. Gonzales acted as judges. Residents were commended for their brilliant papers.

On the second day of the event, 6 residents competed for the podium presentation, 3 for descriptive and meta- analysis and 3 for analytical. Each resident was given 8 minutes to present their paper. The judges were given the chance to interpolate the presenters. Dr. Ernesto V. Arada, Dr. Arturo P. Castro Jr., and Dr Meyvell Galvan A. Atanoso were given the tough job of judging the papers.

The research papers were judged based on the technical criteria (70%) including originality, relevance, methodology and content and the actual paper presentation (30%).
