EUROPEAN TRAINING IN BASIC LAPAROSCOPIC UROLOGICAL SKILLS (E-BLUS)
This program is offered to Urologists and Surgical Residents who want to master the basic skills in Laparoscopy required for the OR. This will be supervised by ESUT Chair Professor Ali Gozen and proctored by our local ESU Certified Trainers.
It will be held in Modala Hotel on June 9, 2023. Limited slots for 50 registrants on a first come, first serve basis.
The registration fees are as follows: 35 Euros for EAU members and 70 Euros for non- EAU Members. Strict implementation of guidelines to pass the EBLUS exam will be conducted. Results will be digitally recorded and reviewed by ESU. Official EAU/ESU Certificate will be issued for passers. There will be a session for practice to be provided a few hours before the actual exam on that day.

MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Dear members of the PUA,
It is my great pleasure to invite all of you to the 38th PUA Midyear Convention, to be held from June 9-11, 2023 in the beautiful island of Panglao, Bohol. This year’s theme, “CHASING EUNOIA: Beyond The Urology Practice”, focuses on topics that will not only benefit our members’ Urology practice but also their overall sense of well-being. We are confident that this convention will be an excellent opportunity for all of us to learn, share experiences, and grow together as professionals.
I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the Organizing Committee led by the PUA Secretary and Overall Chairman, Dr. Michael Eufemio Macalalag, and the PUA Executive Council Member and Scientific Committee Chairman, Dr. Karl Marvin Tan. They have come up with an impressive program that I am sure will benefit us all. I would also like to acknowledge the PUA Central and Eastern Visayas Chapter, led by its President, Dr. Edwin Lim, for their help and contribution to this event.
We encourage all PUA members to attend the Midyear Convention and take advantage of this unique opportunity to learn from the best in the field. In addition, we extend the invitation to the families of our members to join us and explore the wonders of Panglao, Bohol.

MESSAGE FROM THE OVERALL CHAIRMAN
Greetings PUA members!
The covid pandemic has taken 2020 and 2021 midyear convention. However last year, our face-to-face 2022 midyear convention was a success in Tagaytay.
During our PUA business meeting, we created a poll for PUA members’ choice for the next midyear venue. With an overwhelming vote, Panglao-Bohol has been chosen.
The PUA executive council and midyear scientific committee has prepared our convention aligned with our PUA President Madrona’s motto of “PUA cares”. The theme of this year’s convention is “Chasing Eunoia Beyond the Urology Practice”. The Midyear convention aims to create an atmosphere of goodwill, learning, collegiality and camaraderie. This year, we have gathered some of the leading urologists and experts in the field to share their knowledge, experiences and insights. It is a great opportunity for urologist to learn from the best and network with their peers.

Welcome to the Philippine Urological Association Midyear Convention 2023!
We are honored to have you join us for this exciting event, taking place on June 9-11, 2023 in the beautiful Panglao Island, Bohol. Our theme for this year’s convention is “Chasing Eunoia” – a call to action for us to strive for excellence and to cultivate a spirit of kindness and compassion within our profession.
As we gather together, we will have the opportunity to learn from some of the most brilliant minds in urology and to share our own knowledge and expertise with one another. This is a time to expand our horizons, to be inspired, and to foster new relationships with our fellow urologists.

The Philippine Urological Association (PUA) will be having its 38th Midyear Convention on June 8-12, 2023 in Modala Hotel and Bellevue Hotel, Panglao, Bohol.
The PUA organizing committee together with the executive council aims to provide a platform for urologists and other healthcare professionals to exchange knowledge and ideas on the latest developments in urology.
